Item Searches
- Watchers Eye – Vitality regen rate, and whatever other mods you can afford. I used the perma-phasing haste mod.
- Large Cluster – You can start with more than 8 added passives, but upgrade to 8 ASAP.
- Medium Cluster – This gives pierce, I recommend running at least one.
- Medium Cluster – For single target.
- Small Cluster – 2 passive Sublime Form.
- Small Cluster – 2 passive Fettle.
- Small Cluster – 2 passive Enduring Composure.
- Skin of the Lords – RRRBBG coloring with Pain Attunement.
- Circle of Anguish – With decent implicits.
- Forbidden Jewels – Untiring.
Gear
Helm
High armour base with Grace reservation enchant, big life and resists. Nothing too crazy here but hitting chaos resistance is nice, or %regeneration.
Amulet
We need to get a lot of attributes from this slot, make sure the base is correct. +1/+1 and cast speed are the big DPS mods, it will be very hard to get those plus life and attributes though. Don’t forget about Intrinsic Catalyst!
Chest
Skin of the Lords with Pain Attunement and RRRBBG coloring is the endgame setup. It can take awhile for these to become available on leaguestart and until then you just wear Crown of Thorns for Pain Attunement and a rare armour chest.
Boots
This slot provides a ton of elemental avoidance, mainly for shock because we get ignite from ascend and freeze from pantheon. The suffix is rolled with Deafening Essence of Loathing and the implicits are Eldritch crafting. It is massively worth it to run uber lab a few times until hitting either ele penetration or life regen enchant on boots.
Gloves
Make sure to have the correct implicits, it’s big damage. Good slot to get a lot of resists or craft an attribute if you come up temporarily short.
Belt
Arn's Anguish turns our endurance charges into damage, while also giving us a nice bit of armour and life. There is a lot of value in corrupting this since the implicit is mediocre.
Rings
Circle of Anguish with %fire damage and buff effect, plus good implicits. Things like -mana cost, %phys damage, %fire damage.
Sceptre
The oscillating base saves us from pathing to Elemental Overload. These can be rare and may require crafting yourself for a truly endgame result.
Shield
Very important to hit the ailment avoid here to get closer to 100%. Otherwise the big DPS is +1 phys and spell damage, and then get life.
Jewels
Uniques
- Forbidden Flesh + Forbidden Flame: I started with Untiring because it was a lot cheaper, and honestly it felt just fine. Unbreakable is also an option.
- Watcher's Eye: I prioritized the vitality regeneration mod, and then looked for any good secondary. Haste perma-phasing is pretty nice so you don’t have to run a Quartz Flask for it.
Cluster Jewels
Large: To have correct pathing, these must be Force Multiplier, Iron Breaker, and Master the fundamentals. To use the fewest points possible they must add 8 passives maximum. You can buy higher added passives at first but must upgrade them later.
Medium: Aerodynamics gives us pierce, and Repeater is big DPS. You can also go Repeater plus Eye to Eye for more DPS.
Small: We use 3 smalls, and they all need to be 2 added passives not 3. Enduring Composure is how we generate charges, very important. Sublime Form beats Frantic Aspect once you are ready for Grace, only because of the all resist it gives. The last is a Fettle for a nice boost to our hp.
Flasks
Life
Being lowlife gives access to a powerful flask mod, helping to counter the downside of Petrified Blood.
Utility
There is a lot of flexibility here, just make sure to cover some ailment protection and whatever else you feel is lacking.
