TbXie's Penance Brand of Dissipation Elementalist Pantheons, Ascendancy & Bandits (PoE Necropolis 3.24)
Ascendancy (Witch – Elementalist)
Mastermind of Discord
Because you should be applying exposure throughout the campaign (either through an already equipped Cluster or Wave of Conviction or whatever source of exposure you choose to use) this is a huge boost of Damage. Its mana regeneration also feels particularly useful whilst progressing the campaign.
Liege of the Primordial
By the time you pick up your second Ascendancy, you should have access to socketed gear which means you can now run 3 Golems, assuming you have the nodes on the tree. They’ll now be automatically resummoned and will be twice as effective as normally because of the buff effect.
Elemancer
The next Golem node will be giving you the last of your Golems and another 100% Buff Effect. The immunity to Elemental Damage will also make them be up a bit more, which is generally just a big QoL.
Heart of Destruction
Whilst this build screams Heart of Destruction, as AoE when we’re mapping and damage while we’re bossing is something we value a lot, you could technically forego this and grab Bastion of Elements. This will make you immune to Elemental Damage, which will allow you to run those maps but it will also give you a huge buffer against Elemental Damage, making you quite a bit tankier.
Bandits
This build doesn’t need anything from the Bandit options, so you should kill all. Oak is just too weak to warrant the two skill points and Alira and Kraityn don’t do anything for us. Two skill points from Eramir it is!
Pantheons
Major God
No debate here, Soul of the Brine King. This needs to be upgraded to active its immunity to freeze as it’s your only freeze immunity source.
Minor God
I personally always pick up Soul of Abberath here and upgrade it to be immune to burning ground cause burning ground is super obnoxious to deal with.
Upgrading your Pantheons
Pantheon powers can be upgraded by using Divine Vessel in the Map Device while you are activating the particular Map that contains the boss you need. Once you’ve killed the boss and captured his soul, you can consume the Divine Vessel, which show up filled in the map device, or deliver it to Sin in Oriath for extra dialogue relating to the game’s lore.
