Armour
Chest
We use the Unique Body Armour Incandescent Heart for both Offense and Defense
Due to this Body Armour we want to get our Chaos Resistance capped as much as possible
Head
We use a Blizzard Crown with Shaper and Elder Influences so we can have a Pseudo 7 link for our Storm Brand the modifiers you want on it are:
- Socketed Gems are Supported by Level 20+ Concentrated Effect/25% increased Area Damage (Influenced Mod)
- Socketed Gems are Supported by Level 20+ Hypothermia/20% increased Effect of Cold Ailments (Influenced Mod)
- Socketed Gems deal 30% more Elemental Damage (Essence Modifier)
- Socketed Spells have +3% to Critical Strike Chance (Influenced Mod)
- +1/2 to Level of Socketed AoE Gems/10% increased Area of Effect
- + to Maximum Life
The recommended enchant is:

Gloves
A pair of Rare Incursion Gloves with Warlord influence:
- Increased Spell Damage (Influenced Mod)
- Culling Strike (Influenced Mod)

Boots
A Rare pair of Fugitive Boots should be used.

Weapon
We Use The Annihilating Light for it’s Triple Damage Explicit and to be able to take advantage of the busted Staff Crit Nodes on the skill tree, It also allows us to run 2 6 link setups combined with our Body Armour so we can have a 6 link Aura and 6 link Utility setup

Amulet
We use a Rare Crusader Influenced amulet Qualitied with Life and Mana Catalyst prioritize stats as follows:
- +1 to Level of all Skill Gems
- +1 to Level of all Lightning Skill Gems
- Wrath has % increased Mana Reservation Efficiency (Influenced Mod)
- % increased Cast Speed
- + to maximum Life
- Attributes as needed
Rings
Call of the Brotherhood Damage, Conversion and 100% shock against Frozen Enemies Mandatory for the build.
A Rare Amethyst Ring Crusader Influenced ring is used to get much needed Chaos Res prioritize stats as follows:
- Gain x Life per Enemy Hit with Spells (Influenced Mod)
- Non-Channeling Skills have -7 to Total Mana Cost (Betrayal Mod)
- Strength / Intelligence
- % increased Cast Speed
- +# to maximum Mana
- [Uncapped] Resistances
Belt
Mageblood, Need I say more? Ok so Mageblood lets us always have 4 of our flasks active which basically completely breaks the game and lets us use some very overpowered flask modifiers and enchants to get greatly increased permanent effects on our character.
Jewels
Unique Jewels
- Forbidden Flesh and Forbidden Flame with Allocates Sign of Purpose
- Watcher's Eye with some of the following mods:
Offensive:
- +(20-30)% to Critical Strike Multiplier while affected by Precision
- +(40-60)% increased Lightning Damage while affected by Wrath
- +(10-15)% increased Cast Speed while affected by Zealotry
Defensive:
- +(30-50)% to Chaos Resistance while affected by Purity of Elements
- Gain (20-30) Life per Enemy Hit while affected by Vitality
- (0.8-1.2)% of Damage leeched as Life while affected by Vitality
- (8-12)% of Physical Damage from Hits taken as Cold Damage while affected by Purity of Elements
- (8-12)% of Physical Damage from Hits taken as Fire Damage while affected by Purity of Elements
- (8-12)% of Physical Damage from Hits taken as Lightning Damage while affected by Purity of Elements
Cluster Jewels
The Large Jewel Sockets can be used to fill out Cluster Jewels. The bases to look for are Added Small Passives Grant:
- 12% Increased Lightning Damage
We have opted to use two so we may have 4 Medium Cluster Jewels. Less passive skills is better. You do not have to talent into all the small passives on the cluster jewel if you have better available options.
Large notables that are worth acquiring:

- Widespread Destruction (only to as the 3rd)
Medium Cluster Jewels
The Medium Jewel Sockets can be used to fill out Cluster Jewels. The bases to look for are Added Small Passives Grant:
- 12% Increased Brand Damage
- 10% Increased Effect of Non-Damaging Ailments
We want 3 Brand Damage and 1 Non-Damaging Ailments

Abyss Jewel
You will want at least one Abyss Jewel with the following mods
- +X to maximum Life
- +X to X Added Spell Cold Damage while wielding a Two Handed Weapon
- +% increased Cast Speed if you’ve dealt a Critical Strike Recently
- +% chance to Hinder Enemies on Hit with Spells

All of our Non Unique Flasks will need the Enchant 70% increased effect/Gains no Charges during Effect and the Alchemist’s or Abecedarian’s Prefix
