Ultimate DPS Cyclone Block Berserker Passive Skill Tree & Gem Links
Passive Skill Tree & PoB
You can find an optimized Path of Building here. Every build I release will use the community fork of Path of Building, which is maintained and updated in a much more regular fashion than the original one. You can find PoB’s Fork, by LocalIdentity, here.
If you are not comfortable with Path of Building, we also have a PoePlanner for you. Do note that PoE Planner does not support Cluster Jewels and some specific unique jewels and it is highly recommended you install Path of Building to follow builds most optimally.
Progression Advice
Since Cyclone is just super strong as long as you equip good weapons along the way, you’ll be completely fine regardless but I’ll leave you with this Path of Building to give you an idea as to what I would suggest your tree looks like at the beginning of maps.
If you’re not comfortable with Path of Building, here’s a PoePlanner to give you an idea of how your tree should look like whenever you’re at about that level.
Gem Links
Cyclone – Main Link (6-Link)
Awakened Gems are needed to push beyond 20 Million DPS but honestly that isn’t even a necessity whatsoever. The good part about them is that they’re generally reasonably cheap! Just pick them up if/whenever you feel like it!
- Cyclone
- Infused Channelling Support
- Awakened Brutality Support
- Awakened Melee Physical Damage Support
- Impale Support
- Fortify Support (or Pulverise Support if you get Fortify on your Staff)
Leap Slam Mobility
Leap Slam is the mobility of choice. We have a decent amount of Attack Speed so it definitely outperforms other options here. It is linked to Blood Magic to avoid using up too much mana or having to invest in some kind of mana sustain. If you decide to manually maintain the Enduring Cry mentioned underneath, you can put a Molten Shell on your Left Mouse Button for some extra defenses.
- Leap Slam
- ###item:Blood-MAgic-Support###
- Faster Attacks Support
- Vaal Molten Shell
Cast when Damage Taken
Since you want as much mitigation as possible, you’re using a mediocrely leveled Cast when Damage Taken Support to mitigate some incoming damage. Since you have two free sockets in a 4-Link, this also is where you Berserk & Enduring Cry buffs go. Enduring Cry can go on left mouse button too, especially after you’ve taken the Call to Arms keystone. Make sure to keep both Enduring Cry & (Vaal) Molten Shell up as much as possible.
Aura Setup
These go in your 5-Linked Weapon (or in your Chest Piece if you opted into the Fortify Weapon), supported by a level 4 Enlighten Support. If you can’t get access to the Enlighten, you’re going to have to drop the level of the Precision gem, as mentioned in the next paragraph. Given you have one extra socket here, you can use a Vaal Ancestral Warchief here for some extra juice on bosses / tough encounters.
PS. For more Defenses, War Banner could be swapped out for Dread Banner. One is better offensively, the other is better defensively.
Utility / Upgrades
The Precision gem should not be leveled further once you go sub 25 free mana. Whenever you level up you can level it a bit further since your mana scales with levels. Besides that, you can run a Storm Brand with an Awakened Hextouch Support and a curse if the Awakened Hextouch hits level 5 (because it gives you an extra curse). This should only be used on bosses for more dps.
- Anomalous Precision
- Storm Brand
- Awakened Hextouch Support 5!
- Punishment or Assassin's Mark
Note: Assassins Mark is the more offensive pick – Punishment offers some more defenses.
