Passive Skill Tree, PoB, and Gem Links

Detonate Dead – Main Link (6-Link)

A Vaal Detonate Dead is more important than a corrupted level 21 regular version. Detonate Dead is insane on bosses or hard single target. Do note that the build was not played with Awakened Versions of these gems but I mention them just for those people who do want to use them in Trade Leagues. They are not required whatsoever

3. Awakened Elemental Focus Support
4. Awakened Spell Cascade Support
5. Awakened Fire Penetration Support
6. Energy Leech Support or Inspiration Support (Preference, one is safer, the other is more consistent DPS)

Spawning Corpses with Desecrate

Since you want to Detonate Corpses, you’re going to need to spawn them in the first place. This is where Desecrate comes in. As mentioned before, the gem will spawn your Spectres regularly which increases the monster life of monsters you’re detonating. It’s linked to Arcane Surge to guarantee the buff’s uptime and Spell Cascade to create more corpses.

Movement & Utility

You’re linking both Enduring Cry and Flame Dash to Second Wind. Since this is a potential free socket, you’re socketing your Raise Spectre gem here as well. Sadly, you don’t have any sockets to give it supports, so you might have to re-summon them regularly, but as long as you don’t leave the zone they died in, recuperating them is easy enough. Spectres nowadays have their life capped, so as long as you have a Spectre that has more than that cap, being 300% more life, you’re fine. Examples of these are the A3 Collossus’ or A5 Kitava’s Heralds. Having the 2 highest health Spectres is important as then it adds two in the pool.

You might consider to add an Elemental Army Support, but judging from Path of Building’s numbers on these spectres, I honestly don’t think they can ever die. If you really want to avoid your minions dying, then you can make the swap; it is definitely personal preference!

Utility

Combustion & Trigger Wand

Armageddon Brand applies Combustion which reduced the enemies Fire Resistance by a significant chunk. Make sure to throw these down when fighting bosses.

As you want to get all of these buffs automatically cast, you need to socket them in your Trigger Wand. These effectively add a ton of Damage through lowering resistances and exposing enemies to Fire Damage while granting you Bone Offering, the cornerstone of your build.

You can opt to cast either the Armageddon Brand & Combustion combination manually or one of the other buffs. Bone offering needs to have 100% uptime though, I’m honestly preferring casting this manually and keeping track of it.

Auras
In your free sockets, you’re going to socket in your 2 Defensive Auras.
