TbXie's Cyclone Cast on Critical Strike Ice Nova Elementalist Passive Skill Tree & Gem Links (PoE Necropolis 3.24)
Passive Skill Tree, PoB, and Gem Links
You can find an optimized Path of Building here. Every build I release will use the community fork of Path of Building, which is maintained and updated in a much more regular fashion than the original one. You can find PoB’s Fork, by LocalIdentity, here.
If you are not comfortable with Path of Building, PoePlanner’s wesbite offers you a non-PoB alternative to import the pastebin into..
Progression Advice
This build assumes you have a level 80 character ready at the go. You will have to progress acts on a more low-level friendly skill like Wave of Conviction

Triggers on Cospri’s
In your first Cospri’s, make sure to socket these exact gems.
Debuff
Vortex can apply a chilling area and while linked to Bonechill Support this increases your Ice Nova DPS. I put it on left mouse button (which makes it triggerable by pressing shift) but if you’re struggling with mana, just manually cast it once on a boss and be done.
Try to use Frostblink to blink into enemies, as it resets the Cooldown. This means it should be up very often, meaning you’re not trying to Cyclone towards a pack without hitting anything because you might die before actually reaching the mobs then since you’d be giving them a ton of time to offscreen you.
Defense
Utility
Because the build remains a bit squishy, and you can get caught of guard, Cast on Death Portal is something I use to save myself the headache of having to run back.
Unhinge
Unhinge is a skill recevied when wearing Doppelgänger Guise. Early on you want to keep it in “Insane mode” to cap out your critical strike chance. Once you can cap without it, keep it in Sane mode for its damage reduction.
