TbXie's Frost Bomb Occultist Pantheon, Ascendancies & Bandits (PoE Necropolis)
Ascendancy (Witch – Occultist)
Void Beacon
Your first upgrade to Cold Damage comes in Normal Lab. This will provide you a nice damage boost throughout the campaign. Nothing fancy here, just some damage.
Frigid Wake
Frigid Wake is a more interesting node. It provides you with a more Cold Damage modifier which multiplies your damage by a good amount. Additionally, it gives you a defensive layer against Chilled Enemies, and you chill all enemies upon hitting them. Further more, it gives you Freeze & Chill Immunity which are super nice, especially early on on your character’s journey.
Forbidden Power
Forbidden Power is the reason why we go Occultist. Because of this, we opt into a power charge stacking character as we require a ton of Area of Effect to achieve overlaps which greatly increase our damage. The fact that it gives you an extra Power Charge and a decent amount of damage are some nice bonusses.
If you are someone who does his 3rd Labyrinth super late, it might be worth considering grabbing Forbidden Power second. You definitely don’t want to wait with Forbidden Power any longer than White Maps as you’ll need the Overlap AoE to competently kill higher bosses without any gear
Unholy Authority
A bossing Ascendancy, as your curses are not automated whatsoever. Since you’re only dropping the Arcanist Brand on tougher enemies, it really doesn’t matter when you pick this up.
Bandits
This build really doesn’t need anything from the Bandit options, so you should kill all. Oak is just too weak to warrant the two skill points and Alira and Kraityn really don’t do anything for us. Two skill points from Eramir it is!
Pantheons
Major God
I personally still think Soul of the Brine King is your best bet. Even though it’s not necessary for Freeze Immunity, having some sort of Stun Avoidance is preferable and this provides that.
Minor God
I personally always pick up Soul of Abberath here and upgrade it to be immune to burning ground cause burning ground is super obnoxious to deal with.
Upgrading your Pantheons
Pantheon powers can be upgraded by using Divine Vessel in the Map Device while you are activating the particular Map that contains the boss you need. Once you’ve killed the boss and captured his soul, you can consume the Divine Vessel, which’ll show up filled in the map device, or deliver it to Sin in Oriath for extra dialogue relating to the game’s lore.
