TbXie's Archmage Ball Lightning of Orbiting Hierophant Ascendancy, Pantheons & Bandits (PoE Settlers of Kalguur 3.25)
Ascendancy
Optimal Ascension Points – Templar / Hierophant
While the Eternal Labyrinth provides you with incredible boosts of power, on some builds more so than on others, it also comes with a dangerous road to a sometimes more dangerous boss. Whilst veteran players generally progress the Labyrinth faster, I advise newer players to try and progress lab at the following milestones.
Normal Labyrinth
I would advise staying out of normal Labyrinth before level 38. Ideally, you want to make sure you have a 4-linked Damage Skill and to feel very safe I recommend a combination of 1000 Life & Energy Shield.
Cruel Labyrinth
Generally, I think levels are just a tad less important here. However, a good threshold is to check if your gems are going to be leveling up soon. In that case, you could be waiting just a bit longer to squeeze out that extra Gem or Character level up. Usually, I’d say, level 59 and aiming for around 2000 combined Life & Energy Shield.
Merciless Labyrinth
This Labyrinth is usually done before killing Kitava, because then you can fight Izaro without losing Resistances. However, if you are sub-3000 Life, you probably should delay it for a bit unless you’re confident in your Izaro-Fighting-Skills. Make sure to be Resistance Capped & to make sure you don’t take unnecessary damage of him.
Uber Labyrinth
Uber Labyrinth is very hard to recommend. It widely depends on gear, character power, generic power in the skill and so on. Therefore, I think you should be comfortable in higher red maps before going into the Izaro fight.
Order of Ascension
Pantheons
Enabling Pantheons
Pantheons get introduced into the game after the Mud Flats, where you kill Tukohama. As soon as you’ve killed the Brine King, you should allocate it (Press Y to open the Pantheon page). Whenever you kill Pantheon bosses during the Campaign, you can allocate its benefits.
Late Game Pantheons
Recommended Pantheons for this build are Soul of the Brine King and Soul of Abberath.
Upgrading Pantheons
Upgrading Pantheons is incredibly important for Character Power. Upgrading Pantheons is done by putting a Divine Vessel into the Map Device with the map which holds the Map Boss needed to upgrade. You can find which map bosses to upgrade by looking at the Atlas ingame.
Bandits
Where to find
The Bandit quest unfolds in Act II which is where you’ll make the first important decision for your character. There’s 4 options to complete this quest. You can help either one of them, by killing the other 2 and turning in their Amulets to the third, in which case they will grant you their bonus. Should you decide to kill all three of them, Eramir will be giving you an extra skill point.
The bonuses given by Bandits are as follows:- Alira : 15% Elemental Resistances
- Oak : +40 Maximum Life
- Kraityn: +8% Movement Speed
You can change your Bandit Quest reward by trading in 20 Regrets and the correct type of amulet to a vendor.
Which one to use
This build struggles on Resistances as there is a huge pressure on suffixes. Therefore, Alira seems like a great pick. However, there’s definitely ways to scale your gear to the point where a Skill Point is much, much better. Should you want to respec, you can trade in 20 Orb of Regret alongside an Onyx Amulet to the vendor to gain Eramir’s Favour.
