TbXie's Divine Ire Elementalist Gear, Jewels & Flasks (Poe Necropolis)
Summary – TL;DR
As per usual, nothing matters more than capping your Elemental Resistance before anything else. This means modifiers on gear are subordinate to Resistances as long as you’re not capped. Since you’ll be running a decent amount of Unique items, it’ll be important to look out for a lot of resistances on your Rare pieces!
We’re providing you with an extensive analysis further down the page but chose to start off with an overview / recommendation.
Our recommendation:
Item Slot | Item Name |
Head | Rare Helmet with Chaos Resistances, Reservation Efficiency, Life & Resistances |
Amulet | Replica Dragonfang's Flight |
Chest | Incandescent Heart |
Gloves | Armour-based Gloves with Attributes, Life & Resistances |
Boots | Ralakesh's Impatience |
Belt | Headhunter |
Rings | Anathema & Resistances, Life Ring |
Weapon | Rare Wand with levels of Physical or Lightning Skills, Crit & Cast Speed modifiers |
For crafting Rare items, you can check out all the affixes that can roll on an item base, depending on its level, influence, and many other factors, using our affix tool.
Armour Pieces
Helmet
Because of how we work with Chaos Resistance, you’re going to want a Fractured Chaos Resistance based. When I played the character, I settled for 27% Fracture on a relatively shitty base. If you can afford it, obviously you’d want a Royal Burgonet or Eternal Burgonet with the highest possible fractured percent Chaos Resistance. You will then want to hit it with Deafening Essence of Loathing (Deafening cause you’ll be happy very fast). You stop whenever you hit some nice Life, or some nice Resistances & Armour and finish off with whatever craft on the bench.
Body Armour
Incandescent Heart is the chest piece of choice. Ideally, at later stages of gearing, you want to grab one that is corrupted with +2 socketed Aoe Gems or +1 to socketed gems and link it with Tainted Orb of Fusings. This is a tremendous boost of damage.
Gloves
You’re on the hunt for a high-armour-base pair of Gloves with fractured Dexterity. As much Dexterity as possible. Afterwards, you’re hitting it with Deafening Essence of Envy until you hit a satisfying 3rd suffix, high life and ideally an open prefix to craft armour on the bench. Obviously, a high armour roll also works so you can craft Life on the bench.
Boots
Ralakesh's Impatience are used to make sure you have all your charges up permanently. This item is irreplicable.
Belt
Honestly, Headhunter is so absolutely insane for this build. If you don’t have one, you’re going to need to find Dexterity on other pieces of gear & you’ll be looking for either a Bisco's Leash here or a high Life belt with Chaos Resistance & Strength.
Accessories
Amulet
Replica Dragonfang's Flight with +3 to Divine Ire Gems is the item of choice here. Make sure to find one with a decent amount of All Elemental Resistances an 10% Reservation Efficiency.
Anoint
You’ll need to anoint Charisma in order to reserve all your Auras
Rings
Your first ring is an Anathema. This allows you to apply a ton of curses on monsters which otherwise wouldn’t instantly die. Whilst generally not required, this comes in handy for very tanky monsters. Your second ring can easily be crafted by buying an Amethyst Ring with fractured Life & reforge Elements on the Harvest bench until you hit 2 or 3 high resistances. If you want to hit a damage modifier, such as in the example, you can craft Suffixes Cannot be Changed and Veiled Chaos orb to unveil a damage modifier. If you hit 3 resistances, you can craft increased Damage on the bench.
Weapon
We’re on the hunt for a Rare Weapon here. Because you want to use Shield Charge to move around, you’ll need a Sceptre. Look for sceptres with +1 levels to skills (Phys or Lightning) combined with high amounts of Damage to Spells, Spell Damage, Critical Strike Chance and Multi. Lastly, some cast speed hugely improves QoL but is not really required if you have a Headhunter.
Flasks
I believe flasks are highly preference-based. One isn’t just outright better than another one for specific / certain builds. Obviously, sometimes, there’s a set in stone set of Flasks you should be using just because they synergize with your build so well. I wouldn’t say those really exist in this setup, but I’d strongly advise you to stick with the setup listed here.
This build should only run one unique Flask, as it’s an enabler for the builds clear speed. The Oriath's End makes your Clear Speed whilst otherwise non-existent. For your Magic Flasks, these are mainly focused on Damage & Armour. The Silver Flask & Diamond Flask are there to increase speed & damage whilst the Basalt Flask & Granite Flask focus on further increasing your Armour to deal with incoming Physical Damage.
Regardless of which utility Flasks you go for and whether you follow our recommendations or not, you’ll need to stick to the suffixes we have picked for you . The affixes on your non-Unique Flasks can be changed around, but I recommend the following setup (based on the Flask duration, charges, and affix priorities):
Our recommendation:
Slot | Flask |
1 | Flagellant’s Silver Flask of the Order (3% Regen) |
2 | Flagellant’s Diamond Flask of the Armadillo |
3 | Flagellant’s Basalt Flask of the Horsefly |
4 | Flagellant’s Granite Flask of Incision |
5 | Oriath's End |
Be sure to check out our Flask Crafting Guide to learn everything you need to know about how to set up your non-Unique flasks.
Jewels
Unique Jewels
First off, a The Balance of Terror, with an Elemental Weakness roll, is an insane amount of Damage. Natural Affinity sounds super annoying, but honestly does help quite a bit when overwhelmed. Because of Flame Dash & Shield Charge, it’s quite easy to circumvent the downsides when you don’t need it but whenever standing still, the bonus is insane & nice to have.
The build also makes use of the Intuitive Leap to save some Skill Points as well as a Watcher's Eye to further maximize power per slot. Ideally, you’re looking for a combination of Zealotry & Wrath modifiers which help you.
Lastly, as thoroughly explained in the introductions, Glorious Vanity in the name of Xibaqua, gives you Divine Flesh, one of the cornerstones of the build. Make sure not to use this jewel unless you’re Chaos Resistance capped.
Cluster Jewels
This build runs 2 Large Cluster setups, with 4 Medium Cluster Jewels as well as 3 Small Cluster Jewels.
First of all, on your Large Cluster Jewel you’re looking for at least one Doryani’s Lesson, 2 Overshocks (1 on each) and a 3rd modifier which helps. There’s plenty of examples such as Thunderstruck, Sadist, Prismatic Heart, Widespread Destruction, …
On your Medium Cluster Jewels, you’re going to want to be a bit more specific. On your Four Medium Cluster Jewels, you can get a total of 8 Notables, two on each. You want those to be 1x Precise Focus, 4x Vital Focus (One on Each), 2x Rapid Infusion, 1x Unwavering Focus.
Lastly, you’re looking for 2 Small Clusters with “Born of Chaos” and a unique Small Cluster Jewel with Natural Affinity.
