TbXie's Poison Blade Vortex Assassin Passive Skill Tree & Gem Links (PoE Settlers of Kalguur 3.25)
Path of Building – Passive Skill Tree
You can find an optimized Path of Building here. Every build I release will use the community fork of Path of Building, which is maintained and updated in a much more regular fashion than the original one. You can find PoB’s Fork, by LocalIdentity, here.
If you are not comfortable with Path of Building, you can check the link in PobbIn. However, we heavily advise you to use Path of Building for which we have a Path of Building Guide
Awakened Gems
A lot of gems nowadays in Path of Exile have Awakened versions. These version will generally be a lot more powerful than the widely available Regular versions. Therefore the should be purchased whenever you can afford them. When the gems listed down here mention Awakened Gems, you are supposed to use their regular versions until you can afford the upgrade.
For most people, leveling these Gems up takes way too much time so you’re generally offered two choices.
- You can just buy a leveled version.
- You can buy the Wild Brambleback beasts and use the Menagerie craft to upgrade Increase the level of non-Corrupted Awakened Gem by 1.

Auras
Whenever you have acquired a The Devouring Diadem. In case you don’t have this item yet, you can drop the Flesh and Stone.
Withering
With the heavy nerfs to other mechanics for wither, I opted to free up some gemsockets to get an actual totem setup going. This is at the cost of some fancy other skills in the build, but is an absolutely obscene amount of damage. Drop your totems somewhere close to bosses before fighting them & keep them up.
Plague Bearer
Plague Bearer is a really strong buff which “incubates” Damage and then unleashes it over time if you pop the gem. This gives you a tremendous amount of extra clear speed and feels really nice to use. Therefore, you should try to buff it up as much as you can.
