TbXie's Poison Blade Vortex Assassin Build Guide (PoE Settlers of Kalguur 3.25)
Introduction & Expectations
I expected this skill to perform a lot better than it is in your guide. Why is this?
Because it is impossible to cater to everyone, I choose to not overcomplicate things. As a rule of thumb, this means you get to be confident you can obtain your two first Voidstones, an otherwise full Atlas completion & have a great mapping experience in T16 maps with moderates amounts of juice. This implies you will most likely be looking for some help, or further investments to obtain your last two Voidstones, as you probably wont have enough fight knowledge to be able to complete them and shouldn’t be mirroring yourself to people with infinite amounts of time & currency completely overjuicing all of their maps.
Disclaimer
I am currently playing the new Challenge League and a lot of things have been added of which no mention can be found in this guide?
While I would very much like to give you all the ins and outs of the new powercreep in the new Challenge League, it saddens me to let you know that no Early access is given out and we thus have no more information than anyone else when updating our build guides before the new patches. We try our utmost to make sure everything is as close to perfect as we can, but cannot forecast which special mechanics / interactions might exist in new Leagues. If something of tremendous power is teased or announced beforehand, you can find specific League specific remarks in the section on the GEAR PAGE

Blade Vortex
Blade Vortex is a Duration Physical Spell which plays a little bit like a Melee Caster. By casting Blade Vortex, you will spawn up to 10 blades which circle and stay around you for a Duration. By augmenting this Duration a bit, you obtain a bunch of Quality of Life as you no longer have to permanently cast. This, combined with the Unleash Support makes it so you’re just a walking simulator, mostly.
The skill is often played Poison as the amount of blades you have spawned increase the hit rate of the skill which means it’s a perfect way to apply a lot of Poison stacks fast.
Playstyle
Like mentioned before, the build kind of plays like a walking simulator. Because Unleash casts 3 Blade Vortexes at the same, you’re only casting the skill every so often which makes it feel like you very often can just run around. You also don’t need to be monitoring your stacks closely or anything, as you wont need maximum Stacks as long as you’re not fighting a boss. While mapping, Plague Bearer will be doing a lot of the heavy lifting & map clearing as well.
Build Assessment

➕ Fast & Zoomy
➕ Cheap to get going

Map Modifiers to Avoid
While certain combinations of modifiers are generally just bad, such as for example a couple of damage modifiers combined with Critical Strike Multiplier, these are things you are supposed to get a feel for yourself and test out. Just make sure not to combine too much crazy things together. Modifiers the build cannot run are listed here.
❗No Life Regeneration
❗Physical Damage Reflect
❗Chance to Avoid being Poisoned
Damage & Defenses
Mechanics
This build leverages the high hit rate of Blade Vortex to apply poisons so fast that you end up with a ludicrous amount of ticking poisons. It also leverages a bunch of Critical Strike Multiplier to make us of the Perfect Agony keystone. Outside of the Blade Vortex setup, not too much is going on. Obviously, as a Poison build, Plague Bearer generally carries mapping on its own and shouldn’t be underestimated. As the build plays as an Assassin and thus has no proliferation for its poisons, Asenath's Gentle Touch takes care of explosions to amplify your clear.
Scaling & Layers
This build layers a lot of conditional mitigation to mostly avoid getting hit for relevant damage. These layers are combinations of following attempts to avoid taking relevant hits:
🔸High Chance to Evade Attacks
🔸Capped Spell Block when you haven’t Blocked
🔸Capped Spell Suppression
🔸Permanent Phasing
🔸Relevant Chance to Avoid Physical Damage alltogether
🔸Elusive & Elusive Effect
🔸Decent Lifepool
🔸Enemies are Hindered
🔸Crit Reduction

Leaguestarter or Transitioning
This build has the Leaguestarer tag. This means we will be holding your hand right from the get go until you reach the pinnacle of your power and finish the guide. In order to maximize your experience, please make sure to follow the Path of Building leveling sections accordingly.
